Privacy Policy
How Cleanmark Facilities Limited collects, uses and protects your personal information, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
Cleanmark Facilities Limited is a cleaning company based in Nairobi, Kenya. For the purposes of the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us on 0756 407 219 (call or WhatsApp).
What we collect
When you book a service, request a quote or send us a message, we collect:
- Your name and contact details (phone number, and email if you give it)
- The area and property type the job is for
- Details you tell us about the job, including notes and any photos you upload
- A record of your bookings and quotes, including their status
Photos you upload may show the inside of your home or premises. We use them only to assess and quote the job.
What we use it for
- To contact you about your booking, quote or message
- To plan and carry out the cleaning work
- To keep records of completed jobs
- To improve our services
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your request unless you ask us to.
Legal basis
We process your information because it is necessary to respond to your requests and perform the service you ask for, and because you consent when you submit our forms. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us — though we may then be unable to complete a pending job.
Who we share it with
Your details are shared only with the team members who need them to do the job — for example the crew assigned to your booking needs your address and phone number. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
How we store it
Booking and contact records are stored in our admin system, which is protected by passwords and accessible only to authorised staff. We keep records for as long as needed to manage your jobs and meet legal obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information
- Object to or restrict how we use it
To exercise any of these rights, contact us on 0756 407 219. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Photos of your home
We never publish photos of your home, before-and-after or otherwise, without your permission. Where clients agree to photos, we avoid showing house numbers, faces and valuables.
